The perfect wedding or elopement location, the East Warburton Redwood Forest is a quick one hour drive from the Melbourne CBD. Above all, its beauty is not just the grand nature of the Redwoods but in that special ‘Redwood vibe’ that feels like it has a little magic in the air.
Firstly, Jordan and Jason married each other in a small, intimate wedding surrounded by 20 of their nearest and dearest in a quiet pocket of the East Warburton Redwood Forest. During the morning of this winter wedding, the rain threatened with dappled showers. However as luck would have it, it was clear skies for this outdoor ceremony. The celebrant shared personal stories of the couple in a beautiful ceremony.
Above all, I had the privilege of spending time with the couple after their ceremony before their reception. These two have such an incredible connection. It’s hard to put into words (I’m definitely more of a pictures than words kinda gal), but they just get each other. There is a real gentleness to their connection. The way that they support each other through the tiniest of moments. From Jason helping Jordan with the twigs in her gown, to Jordan brushing dried leaves from his jacket. In other words, it’s in the quiet moments where you can see the care they share for each other.
